We all know that having the exhaust gas recirculated is good for
smog inspections, but bad for performance. I will retain the
EGR system so that I can reinstall it come inspection time, but the
rest of the time, I want to milk all the HP out of this engine that
I can. |

The EGR system cools some exhaust gas and sends it back into the intake. |
