Knock Sensor Replacement.

Plan.

More photos below.

After all that work on rewiring my Supra, I still have a code 52.  I need to see which sensor is bad so I can order it.

Sensor rewire...

The Project.

I removed pins 10 and 11 from the ECU connector and used two pieces of wire to jumper each one to the ECU.  With pin 10 jumpered, I had a code.  Pin 11 is clean.  This means my front sensor is bad.  The one in my parts car is physically broken so I guess I will be ordering one.

Difficulty.

None yet.

The Problems.

No real problems, yet.

The Payoff.

Right now I left pin 10 jumpered so the car would run right.  This repair is in limbo as is my car due to a rod knock.
