Engine Mechanical.

Engine mechanical includes the head, the block, the flywheel, all internal engine parts and modification work available for each.  When upgrading the engine there are several routes to go- purchase a complete engine including covers and oil pan with the work already done (long block), a complete engine without any covers or pan (short block), a pre-prepped head or have a new head worked on, and building the lower end.
While this list does give side by side price comparisons, there are no guarantees these are accurate- after all prices rise and fall, this list was compiled from company's websites, and some companies may not be as diligent in keeping their pages as current as others.  Do not rely on this page for making a purchase decision, contact the companies individually for up to date prices and availability. 
Also, remember that the lowest price is not always the best.  I don't mind spending a few more dollars for a company I have dealt with before and know I can trust.  I also would rather give my money to someone that is Supra or MkIII specific.  They deserve some reward for the strides they have made in filling the modification holes left by businesses that now deal only with later model cars.  If we want them to continue to get custom parts manufactured, we must support them.
